Research is a significant activity of the college. The institution encourages and supports quality research and consultancy by the faculty and students. Such activities are motivated, initiated and ably guided by an eminent Research Director who is supported by a research committee and research co-ordinators.
Laboratory infrastructure and facilities have been strengthened and upgraded periodically with need based, state-of-the art equipments by the management. Extracurricular academic activities are supported in the form of funded and management supported research activities undertaken by staff and students of the institution.The facilities are open for staff and students of other institutions associated with research.
The college has two established research centres.
The Centre for Scientific Research and Advanced Learning is well equipped with basic infrastructure and equipment for carrying out research.Candidates interested in accessing the facilities at the centre can approach the Principal or Research Director using the request form.
The Centre for Scientific Research and Advanced Learning is a Recognised Research Centre of IGNOU for Research programmes in Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science,Microbiology) Chemistry, Hindi and Sanskrit.
